As women, we so often put selfcare on the back burner, like it is the least important of our responsibilities. At least I know I do.

I designed this journal to help us get in the habit of putting priorities on ourselves, as much as we do for the people we love, the people we work for and

care for. We all deserve that.

I want you to reconnect with your feelings, your dreams, your personal goals, nd be able to decide your future. Often we forget that we hold the keys to our own destiny. If you don’t have the life you really want, well let’s get started on making that a reality.

A Self Care Journal by Rose Cushing is an invitation for women to journal their way to personal fulfilment starting by establishing a foundation of self-love and acceptance. The author serves as a guide that prompts self-reflection on a few key topics that help to serve the health of our mind, body, soul and heart. She points out that “What we think, we become,” and advocates for training our thoughts to be positive about ourselves if we want a positive outcome.

While Cushing emphasizes the power of thought to affect the change we seek, she also advises about establishing simple habits of self-care such as meditation, communing with nature as well as daily rituals which go a long way to reinforce the way to wellbeing. Using this journal is a way to seize that rare opportunity of tuning into yourself. This is not only an act of well-deserved kindness we owe ourselves, but to quote Rose Cushing, “The best project you will ever work on is you.”
